"The hotel has a spectacular location right by ferry terminal. The rooms were large and had high ceilings with water view. The reception closes at 8pm and we felt a bit lonely in the hotel. Able to swim right off the beach by hotel. Wonderful. Best local restaurants were French Cafe and Signal Hill. About 45 minutes to airport. "

Location is about 10-15mins walk to the centre and a lot of parking space closeby (free in weekends, during weekdays 3.5 NZD for the first 2 hours after that 6NZD per hour (8am-6pm))"
