Bathroom was mouldy and old. Curtains had mould on them, blankets had marks on them. Multiple shelves / hooks broken. Wifi worked intermittently. Breakfast was individual slices of bread (separated from the loaf) and same with the cereal. Asked for extra blankets multiple times and eventually took physically standing at reception to get them. I wouldn’t stay again, was old, mouldy and dated.

Arrived at the hotel around 4pm ... reception OK ...no parking . Room on 4th floor - galley style lounge and kitchenette with washer corridor size that lead onto a double bed in another room that had a balcony. Bathroom showing wear and tear and rust spots . all facilities in room worked ...but basic . Only 1 towel so asked for another ...had to ask twice before eventually arrived. No phone to call reception in room. Room quite enough .

Room wasn’t what I expected from the pictures and what I thought I had paid for. Kitchen facilities ok, stove was dirty though. Washing machine made an absolute racket and was leaking. Called management, was given a nicer room and promised that the clothes would be cleaned and dried by the next morning. Woke to find the clothes were still being washed (12hours later), when they were able to get clothes out of the machine they remained soaking wet. As a result, I thought it would be easy just to spin dry the clothes and get them out ( no chance) Parking instructions were very poorly, and given 2 options ( neither option was taken as I couldn’t find the carpark) Ask if I’d return to stay there. It’s a BIG FAT NO from me.

The location was great!
The overall stay was ok, a great location with walking distance to the sky tower, center, shopping, supermarket so great for a family with kids. Also, it was very handy to keep the suitcases at the hotel after the check out and have the last walk around before heading to the airport. The check-in was long and the room I received was not serviced so very disappointed, however I got a better one after I complained. We re-cleaned all the dishes as it didn't look very clean. I had a high expectations, however it work and my sister love Auckland.
