Vibrant, clean, lively city next to a great Harbour with lots to do and lots of restaurants. Great public transportation both on land and water. People are friendly, it's very ethnically diverse and has a lot of young active folks. Fairly expensive.

Big cities aren't usually my thing, but Sydney was friendly and easy to walk around. Never felt unsafe. It's a busy city. The Royal Botanic Gardens were wonderful to walk through. The Harbour Bridge walk at night was safe and a great view of the city

Highly recommend the Throw Back Daytime Disco party sailing from Kings Whalf. Botanic Gardens and Rocks area are good at most times of the year. There is a great lookout from the Harbour Bridge Pylon. Theres several good waterfront areas to enjoy.

There's always so much to do in Sydney that you can't fit it in a quick 2 day visit. Top things are visiting the NSW Art Gallery, the amazing bookshops KINOKUNIYA and DYMOCKS, and love visiting the QVB. The weekend Rocks Markets are a winner too.

Sydney's public transportation is extensive and easy to use. Almost every shopping mall has an extensive food court with excellent selections. The Botanical Garden is spectacular and the Chinese Garden of Friendship is the best in the world!

Get out on the water. Walk to places like Shelly Beach from Manly or take a ferry to the city. Walk around the Botanical Gardens or catch another ferry to Watsons Bay. There is so much to see and the fresh air, sunshine and scenery are all free!

Sydney must be the best city in the world, so much to offer, a stunning harbour, a plethora of natural beauty spots, great architecture, superb cultural offerings and dining options. We've been coming here from the UK for more than 20 years.

I loved Sydney. It is a city built around harbors and water. The metro was so easy to navigate and it was $1 AUD per ride! There are ferries, buses and trams that are accessible and all on the same system of payment(Opal). Don't skip Sydney!
"FRONT DESK WERE FRIENDLY.
They kept our luggage as we ventured off to see Chinatown.
The room was clean and comfortable.
The room temperature was chilly and we had no heat.
We were grateful for an extra half hour .
We heard no airport traffic nor sounds of aircrafts, it was very quiet and relaxing.

"Great place close to the airport. I stayed a few nights as I was working close by. The hotel is quite nice and the restaurant was pretty good. Breakfast was ok "
"Rooms are very nice!! King bed, very clean. If you want to play your own movies on the TV, it has a USB input.
Pool & Spa is open from 6am-9pm, it is part of Fitness First which is in the basement, FREE as a guest of the hotel.
The glasserie restaurant is not very good, better to go outside to other 5star restaurants. Buffet breakfast is very good. Overall worth a stay."
