Yes, internet in Australia remains generally terrible compared to most of the world, but I still can't believe an airport hotel is trying to charge extra for WiFi provision in 2023. No thanks. The hotel is otherwise very comfortable.

Fantastic Hotel close to Sydney Airport
Had a fantastic stay ..close to the airport..walking distance or bus stop next to hotel. Great size room ..bed very comfy with a selection of pillows. Great buffet brekkie spread with egg station good selection of breads and cereal fruit and sweet muffins and pastries. Had dinner in the restaurant ..my chicken dish was superb...and the prices were great. All the staff I encountered were nice and friendly . Look forward to staying here again
