Do a deep clean!
The reception females were abrupt however the men were very friendly so helped. The rooms were dirty, cigarette butts in a balcony- we had 4 rooms - 3 in N and 1 in O - all were substandard cleanliness. Sinks, kitchen stove, microwave dirty.

Though I arrived hours before Check-In time, the guy that looked after my check-in made me feel welcomed and valued. He asked about my plans for the 5 days (birthday weekend) that I was in Sydney and he listened. As my room wasn't ready yet, I left my bag at reception and went exploring. When I got back later, I collected my bag and the keys, and when I went into my room, there was a bottle of champagne, balloons and a birthday card on the table. The 1 bedroom suite was the perfect base for me. It was spacious, modern, clear and tidy, and had everything I needed. It was close to the East Village shopping precinct and many transport routes / options and an easy walk wherever you want to go.

The location was noisy despite having an apartment in a better location. Also was quite annoying to call for ammenities like coffee and toilet paper each day as there is only a clean once per week and that service was just replacing towels. Carpets and bed linen were not cleaned/changed in the 6 days we stayed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay we arrived at 6:25am and went to go see if we could drop our luggage off and Karen the Manager On-Duty was able to get us checked in. It was a very easy checkin. The unit was pretty clean but had minor damage to some of the carpet.
