Glad we didn't pay full price.
Our stay here was a little disappointing. We got the hotel on special and only paid half price. The The staff were wonderful, friendly and very helpful, the location was fantastic however our room smelt of cigarettes even though we asked for non smoking rooms. One of the lifts smelt worse than our room and also the foyer area where the lift stopped strongly smelt of cigarette smoke. The breakfast that was included in the cost of the hotel was not very nice at all. There was also a lot of noise in the hallway around 5am. The hotel needs to be freshed up.There were plenty of places to go nearby for breakfast.

Highly recommend you book this place for Japan
Everything there was amazing, from the room to breakfast. the 24 hour front desk was great and they can even mail a box of thing to the airport for you for a small cost. Everyone was very friendly and spoke a lot of english, which helped immensely as I know little Japanese. Just a really nice and solid place to stay in an very entertainment rich part of Shinjuku close to any railines you need.

What a turn off
Location ok. Room size normal for japan. But among all the hotels ive stayed in this is the most inconsiderate one. Check out is 11am. Got down 1125am which was normal for a traveler not to be always on time when checking out because all hotels we have stayed in (note we travel more than 12x a yr) would not mind the extra minutes due to last minute checking and tidying a bit of the room and was charged 1000yen without any consolation from the strict old man in the reception. This is a major turn off

Great experience
Great place close to transportation, restaurants and very centric. Very clean and modern with 2 restaurants and a bakery on premises. Very friendly and helpful staff, some stuff were fluent in English. Overall a great experience, I stayed in 4 different hotels in Japan and this was my first visit. I was very impressed with this hotel and will visit again when coming back to Japan. Thank you for the great service provided.

Don't be put off by the areas nightlife!
On arrival at 01.00 I was not at all impressed bu the location or the hotel as its in the middle of the party area but first impressions were quite wrong. Its very quiet and in daylight all quite OK.

Good, but Sad to Spend a Whole Day At
This hotel has private bathrooms, free reliable WiFi, a good staff, and a nice western/Japanese style breakfast. They were able to receive and hand me my Shinkansen tickets that I ordered from Voyagin. However, this hotel is exceedingly small, even by Tokyo standards. The bathroom poses a major challenge with a steep step that you have to climb up. The rooms feel a bit old, and the elevators had an odd smell. Again, for basic showering and sleeping, this hotel performs admirably. Unfortunately, a major typhoon struck Tokyo during our stay, and we were forced to spend the entire day at this hotel. This resort is not large or comfortable enough, nor does it have sufficient amenities to make that an appealing option. Bottom line, I could recommend this hotel in good conscience to someone who only needs a place to shower or sleep, as long as they are not visiting during the September/October typhoon season. The Wing International in Shinjuku does the job on a basic level, but certainly doesn't go any extra miles.
