Great for family!
Throughly enjoy our stay in Daiichi. Staff were very friendly. Room was great and comfortable for our family of 4. Highly recommended! One minor drawback was the only coin laundrymat is about 15 min walk away in the next suburb Shimbashi, if you do not want to use the hotel laundry services.

Wouldn’t stay here again....
I was surprised that the service wasn’t that great. Considering it’s japan where service is usually impeccable, I thought the service here was really poor. The older male concierge at the bell desk was actually quite rude! And the other two assisting him were not very good at English and it took them 10 minutes to explain how I could get to the Haneda domestic airport, and even after they gave me the options, they weren’t very good at answering the questions I had. Also, the restaurant options are limited for breakfast and are very expensive for what you get. Totally not worth it. And the gym isn’t even in this hotel - you have to leave the hotel and go into the Dai-ichi Annex Hotel to get to the buffet breakfast or the gym - very inconvenient!! I wouldn’t recommend coming to this hotel. The only good thing was the fact it was centrally located.

Great location and a pleasant stay.
We found all the hotels we stayed at inJapan have a very firm to hard mattress. This may be the local preference. The room we stayed in was a deluxe and it was spacious enough for our purposes. We found the location very convenient for the local metro lines as well as for connecting to the JR lines. Area was clean and we felt safe with plenty of eateries around and the main shopping strip just 7-10 mins away. Reception and concierge were helpful and most spoke English well.

Convenient location but a bit noisy
The hotel is a few minutes walk from JR Shimbashi Station, very central location in Tokyo and easy to go to all tourists sites. Quite a lot commercial buildings, restaurants and bars nearby. Service is quite good, but the room is not large and near railway. So a bit noisy.
