4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Dubai

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Dubai is between July and September, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For a budget-friendly trip, staying for at least 4 to 5 days is recommended to fully appreciate the city’s key landmarks, historical sites, and cultural experiences. During this time, you can explore the stunning skyscrapers, take a riverboat tour, enjoy excursions into the desert, and indulge in shopping and dining at charming cafes. This period offers great value for money, making it an ideal time to experience the vibrant culture and history of Dubai.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Dubai, explore the Deals or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Additionally, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay updated on flash sales and special promotions, increasing your chances of securing the best prices. The Smart Shopping feature in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to see the best hotel deals available. This way, you can act swiftly if prices drop or rooms become available for your spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates may allow you to save on your stay in a hotel in Dubai. For those in search of distinctive accommodation options, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you make a booking with Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, helping you to potentially secure a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels located near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but with Dubai's exceptional public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
