Nothing special
The stay overall was fine. Not great. This was advertised as all inclusive but it’s a very different experience than what I’ve known. Don’t expect any specialties here. There are some major limitations that should be fixed. You can’t walk around the resort with drinks, nor is there pool side service. There is no variation in drinks - it’s white wine or red and bottom shelf liquor offerings. Also, not a lot to do here, but if you just want to hang by the pool then this might be a good stay for you. Pool is nice, hotel is IK but nothing special.

Not your typical all-inclusive
Overall the experience was fine. There were some key differences than staying at all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean. Notably, you couldn't walk around with a drink in your hand. You had to stay in the bar with it so couldn't even take drinks back to your room. The sports bar that offered snacks was disappointing - hamburgers, hotdogs, and fruit. There was no poolside service with drinks or snacks which was definitely different from previous all-inclusive experiences. The food overall was good, however, all buffet. It would have been nice to have more seated offerings. Lots of seating around the pool and beach which was amazing. The pools were very clean. Sea facing view was fantastic. Rooms were clean and had a nice balcony. Overall not a typical all inclusive experience but had a good enough experience.

RIU Dubai hotel
The RIU is the place to stay for a All inclusive beach holiday. The staff were all fantastic and nothing was any trouble for them to do. Taxis are cheap and you will need them to see the various attractions.

Exceptional stay at Riu Dubai
Fast check-in, room was ready upon arrival at 11am. Very professional, friendly and accommodating hotel staff everywhere, at the bars, restaurants and lobby. Great food selection and quality at the restaurants and buffet. Decent selection of alcohol beverages at the bars. Very happy with my stay at this hotel, highly recommend and will definitely stay again on my next trip to Dubai

My family had a wonderful stay at RIU Dubai. Our kids enjoyed the waterpark and pools. There was always a good variety of food at the buffet and the staff were very nice. We arrived in the morning before check in time after a very long flight and we were accommodated quickly. The room was very nice and clean with a lovely view of the ocean. Cons: No room service and no snacks in the room for the kids. After a long flight, the kids were tired and unable to go to the dining room for food. I wish there were other options to be able to eat in room. Drinks could have been better. Pina coloda needs help with taste and needs to be frozen! No wash cloths in the bathroom and even when we asked they seemed to forget. Kids club hours are too short. Sand on the beach was more like broken seashells. Otherwise the stay was great. The food was good and staff even better!
