Great value, cute room
Le Petit Rosedale is a very cute, quiet, clean hotel. The location is convenient but not in a hectic area. It's very helpful that there are laundry machines and a small gym, and the Handy phone is great for navigating without using up your own phone's battery. The room itself would be considered small by American standards, but it was fine for our needs. For one person, it would be plenty of space, and for us (a couple) it was cozy but not uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend that two people who aren't dating/married share one of these rooms, because there's no real room for privacy. There was enough space for my large suitcase and carry-on and his duffel bag, but I don't think we would have been able to squeeze in any more luggage. The bathroom is also small but not unlivable. We didn't have any issues with the shower leaking into the bathroom despite the shared door. The bigger design issue is that there is only one light for the bathroom and shower, so when someone is showering, the brightly lit bathroom is open to the bedroom. This makes it difficult for one person to get ready while the other is sleeping. The other issue with the bathroom/shower design is that it can make the room kind of steamy and humid. (For those who care about doing their hair and makeup, this isn't the most optimal set-up.) Tips: 1) to have your sheets changed, put the wooden card from the nightstand on the pillow; 2) don't pay for the hotel's breakfast (no variety, unappetizing food).

Decent, but not great.
Overall this hotel covers the bare minimum for a business traveler. Not a good choice for couples, unless you are very comfortable with hearing your partners bodily functions. Good points: Comfortable bed, decent breakfast option, consistently working high speed internet. Umbrellas available to borrow. Located close to many buses. Bad: Tiny rooms, stains on the walls near the tv in both rooms I stayed in, oddly designed bathroom with one door that functions as both the bathroom door and shower door. No fridge or iron in room. 8-10 minute walk to closest MTR.

nice comfy hotel, needs to improve security access
solid small overnight place. however very little noise separation + biggest negative I is the elevators are not key access locked. I got woken up by a "working" lady middle of 530am who was knocking on the door adjacent of me nonstop. I was really irritated after the she knocked on for 5 mins.. woke up fully, opened the door and saw this really obvious "worker". I yelled at her for waking me up and trying to do solicitation at this hour. she ran off (apparently her appt bailed and didn't open the door). what a disgrace. Mgmt -> check your security cameras. and change your elevator so these creeps don't roam up freely into guest room areas. this is a nicely renovated place and have potential. keep it that way!

Compact but comfortable
Smallish room in keeping with many HK hotels, most likely aimed at business travelers. But all the facilities are there, and Internet works well. My only criticism is minor - we arrived very early and could not occupy our room, as we expected, but there is no public lounge or space that is inside (air conditioned), only outside next to a guy who was smoking by the exercise equipment(!). This meant we had to spend a couple hours at the local Starbucks which gets old very quickly... The food staff didnt seem to want to let us just sit and work in the (air conditioned) area where breakfast was just finishing. There dont seem to be any restrooms outside of the rooms either - although I did see a plan on the wall to make these on the 1st floor. Anyway, if you arrive after12pm, none of this is an issue, and the hotel is well placed for both business and leisure.

Really nice and cosy hotel!
I arrived at Le Petit Rosedale with no expectations cause the price that was offered from hotel.com was really attractive. So my pleasant surprise, the hotel has all a basic traveller's needs. One has to understand that most hotels in causeway bay are small, unless one is willing to spend hundreds (usd) on their accommodation. The hotel also provides free shuttle to Hong Kong station which saves me from dragging my luggage to Tin Hau or Causeway bay MTR Stn. Also the first round of drinks in the mini bar is FREE for consumption. It was fitted with 1x coke, 1x orange juice, 2x beer. Hotel staff were friendly and room was small but adequate. Bed was to what I liked...not those really soft type as I have lower back pain issues. Again, for the price, absolutely worth every penny I spent.
