Nice location
Walking up the stairs (no elevator) the hallway was so musty smelling. Upon entering my room it was also musty smelling and the bathtub was rusty and peeling. I tried turning on the tv which didn't work. It took the front desk 4 remotes to fix the problem. I showed the manager the bathtub and he kindly switched me into another room. It was also musty smelling, the air vent in the bathroom was filled with dust clinging to it. During the night I woke up with a sore throat due to, I suspect mould. It was 3 in the morning, I approached the front desk and she said there was nothing they could do till the morning. I didn't sleep at all that night. The plaster was peeling in some locations of my room. The carpet was musty also. In the morning the front desk apologized for the problem. Breakfast was at another Hotel 2 blocks away. I told them I wouldn't be staying another night so they needed to cancel my reservation. They agreed but couldn't reimburse me because I had booked through Expedia. I've been trying to contact you for a refund that no one has answered my request. Please get back to me asap after you've contacted the Hotel to confirm that they agreed to a refund. I took this trip because my house was being renovated and I didn't want to be in all that dust and was then all the more frustrating to be in this circumstance. I don't care that you can't post this....I just want to hear from you!

$180 for a hotel that I wouldn't pay $20 for!
No parking, no elevator, broken bathroom, and a spider infested AC unit! Got in late, booked Queen Anne's cause it was the cheapest in town, although for $180 we thought we'd at least get our moneys worth, but boy were we wrong. Their parking lot was full so we were forced to do street parking, which was only allowed until 8am, and then we had to go pay. They had no elevator, which isn't a big deal, although it's not the most convenient lugging suitcases up a small stairwell. Our toilet gave us issues from the start. We were told if they couldnt fix they would send someone in the morning, but what were we supposed to do all night with no toilet?? And worst off all, as soon as we turned up our AC, two huge, black spiders crawled out of the AC and went to hid behind the radiator. Normally I wouldn't mind squashing one under my shoe, but these were no daddy long legs! With no toilet and an infested room, we decided to just pack up and drive put of town for a better, much cheaper place. Staff showed no concern for our issues and basically just shrugged their shoulders at us as we asked for a new room/refund but thankfully the staff immediately issued us a refund!

worth the price but not more
My first room (before I insisted on changing) was really run down. The water leaked from the shower all night, the air conditioner did not work and the ceiling fan creaked and wobbled loudly. Some, but not all, of the people working the front desk were unfriendly. I had to beg for a maintenance person to fix the leaking faucet and when a business friend contacted the hotel to talk to me, the person who answered insisted they had no record of me. When I contacted the front desk on this matter, because it's very bad for business, they were defensive...insisting that whoever called did not pronounce my name correctly. I gave them a piece of advice -- ask the person to spell it next time. There was no apology for this nor the next incident. After spending two nights with the leaky faucet I came back from work the third day to find the bathroom flooded because the leak had gotten worse. All the new towels given were soaked. When I went to the front desk to say that I had to change rooms there was silence and keys to a new room thrown at me. The new room was a lot better and everything worked. The hotel is low budget and I think it has a lot of potential -- it just needs to get all the rooms in working order and train the staff to be more friendly.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights for its location. Only 10 minute walk to the space needle. When we check in, I asked the lady about self parking at the hotel she said is $30 a day and finish at 2 PM the next day. I told her I would try one day and she gave me a ticket to put on the windshield. We went in the room, it’s old and the bedding smells bad. Closet only has two plastic hangers. You can never just the water to the right temperature in the shower. Either you get a burn on your skin or a cold. Anyway, we went to the reception and ask about the restaurant at the space needle and she told us it’s operating tonight with a package to go to the observation deck. When we got there, the sales at the souvenir shop told us it’s been closed for two years! What a unknowledgeable receptionist! When we check out two days later the cashier asked me for $72 and she said it’s for the two days parking since I didn’t give her back the ticket, but the lady never told me during check-in. I argued and finally she charged me for 1 day. After we left, my husband told me that actually yesterday afternoon he saw a mouse ran to the back of the fridge in the room when we were watching TV. He didn’t tell me because that’s THE thing that I scare the most in my life! That’s how dirty the place is! I will never in my life come back to this hotel again!

Worst Hotel Manager
I am normally not one to complain about an experience but this 100% warrants it. My husband and I flew in and had a late check-in at our hotel. Upon arrival there was no parking around the facility, but we curb parked to check-in and confirm with the hotel where to park. The receptionist, who turned out to also be the manager was beyond rude, and un-helpful. It was after midnight, and we were exhausted from our traveling and just needing assistance on where to park our car. Not being from the area, we had no idea. She advised us that the kiosk outside would be the only help and handed us a pamphlet that would explain to us what to do. Upon opening the brochure it provided no information on where to park, the hotel did not have a local parking lot available to us. The manager never told us where to go, so it was on us to find somewhere in the local area to park. My husband then went to move our vehicle, to some undetermined location, while I continued the check in.She then proceeded to bad mouth my husband to me, about his questioning of where to park. ARE YOU SERIOUS? By this time, we are just beyond exhausted, walk 3 flights of stairs with luggage to our room, and the DOOR WAS AJAR. Not locked or closed. It was OPEN. My husband did a quick search of the room, as he has a military background, and State Department security for our government, I was comfortable with his decision on we would stay just the night, and attempt to leave in the morning. We were charged a 2nd night.
