Beautiful facility. Plane arrived early, so I went to the front desk to let them know we were here. Told them I didn't expect to be able to check in until 3, but Sophia at front desk found a room which was ready and checked us in 2 hours early. Very much appreciated after long overnight flight! Definitely will stay here again next time we're in the area.

Hotel was easy to see from the street, very difficult to find the entrance. Property is old, desperately need a renovation. Bath towels first used in the 90's. They popped for king sized pillows, but not pillow cases. Incredible. The room did come with 3 telephones, which no one uses anymore. The staff saved the day. Everyone was efficient and friendly. Everything was clean and functioned properly. We ate at the breakfast buffet twice and it was excellent. Again, personnel first class. All this being said, we will try a different hotel next visit to Tuxtla.

The bathroom was full of mold even the rod that holds the shower curtain was black with mold. This is not something the housekeeping should have to deal with. Waters leaking between the walls of the bathtub. tiles with mold in the junctures. Towels were stained and frayed at the edges. Some had half of the edges.

We have been staying at this hotel annually since 2007, back when it was the Camino Real. My husband and I even got married here in 2010. It was and is a beautiful hotel, one of the best in Tuxtla. That being said I am disappointed that on this last visit we noticed the property has really gone down hill. While the breakfast buffet is still one of the best I have ever had, almost everything else seems a bit run down: no towels at the pool, not even on request, not enough clean towels for our room every day, towels received were old and dingy, waterfall and water slide in the pool were not functioning, black marks all over the outside of the hotel, empty fountains in restaurant, broken and inadequate chairs around the pool, dirty windows, escalators not working, shower tile needs regrouting, etc. This is still a great hotel and I would still recommend, however it appears that it is not managed or kept to the same standards as well as it was when it was a Camino Real. I was disappointed with the way it looked and will consider other hotels for future visits.

De los pocos hoteles en Tuxtla con tina! Eso nos encanta así cómo su buffet, la atencion es muy buena y nos ayudaron en el centro de negocios con un archivo que no podíamos imprimir, gracias por ello, las habitaciones muy cómodas pero los pasillos ya lucen viejos , el estacionamiento trasero tiene un acceso al gym que tiene una escalera espantosa y el estacionamiento de enfrente siempre está lleno, único inconveniente
