"Very nice hotell at a great location close to center of Jakarta. The service from staff is excellent and they are extremely helpful and polite. I stayed 4 nights with access to Club Lounge, all meals included. It was ok but not so much to choose from on the menu. Sometimes they did not even have a local Bintang left. One time they ran out of chicken and after talking to 3 people and 20 min later they managed to give me a sandwich. Room was nice and clean. Bed fantastic. Had some trouble setting...

Pool on the 5th floor was high enough to be quiet enough and not too windy, and the gym was well equipped and spacious with bluetooth headphones.
It would be great if the spa offered sauna and steam room.
Stayed in the exec suite which has ample space to relax on a solo trip. It's a shame the room was facing a soon to be construction site and the less affluent side, but a minor issue. Earplugs were supplied.

"My wife and I were impressed when we stayed at the Shangri-La in Cebu and therefore we decided to book another Shangril-La for a brief stay in Jakarta.
We were not disappointed with the service being very good, all staff attentive and the hotel being to a high standard.
