Nasty!
This was the worst hotel ever. It was disgusting and unclean, even the pictures had mould on them. The rooms had bare walls and badly needed a fresh coat of pain. The description said there were private bathrooms, not true, it was a dirty communal bathroom. They didn’t provide any towels. The walls are paper thin and you could hear everything. We had booked tow rooms, one for my teenage daughter and her friend, but we did not feel it was safe for them. It was about 9:30 when we arrived, and soon after the owner was nowhere to be seen to talk to. Ultimately we found another hotel nearby that ended up costing, but at least we felt safe, secure, comfortable and clean.

Avoid at all costs
Booked this 'hotel' very last-minute due to needing to catch an unexpected early-morning flight from Heathrow - everything else in the area was completely sold out. It was like what I imagine a halfway-house for people who'd just left prison would be like: a teeny, tiny room, a shared bathroom and toilet (despite the hotels.com listing saying private bathroom), no soap or toiletries, and no towel until I asked for one. The shared area was horrible - see attached photo - and the door to my room didn't lock properly, so I felt unsafe to leave my luggage in there to venture out to find food. There was a sign outside the pub (oh yeah, it's above a grotty pub where people were noisily drinking in the beer garden until late) that said rooms from £30, so I'm not sure why hotels.com had the gall to charge me £120 for this dive. An awful experience.
