A lovely property, helpful with arrival times and adjusting my booking when I messed up my dates. If you're looking for a great value stay in Harrogate you can't go wrong with this one. If you're using the Harrogate Conference Centre then its perfect - just across the road. I'll be returning here. Highly recommend. Paul.

Great location, upmarket, warm hotel, free parking
I travelled to Harrogate for the Theatre, to see a comedy show with friends. The free parking and close location to the town centre where the main reason for choosing The Camberley. It's a lovely hotel, very clean, with a nice, friendly atmosphere. The staff where very friendly and helpful. My room (3)was on the top floor, it had a four poster bed, which I didn't expect. The room was small but comfortable and it felt quite upmarket. Really nicely decorated, it had a boutique feel to it.The ensuite was nice and clean, a toilet, wash basin and a shower cubicle with dark wood style panels, made a nice change from the usual white.Shower has an adjustable handset. Electric, simple to use and good water pressure. Towels where nicely folded, placed on the bed.The room had a chair, table with tea and coffee facilities, a mini fridge, open rail clothes hanger and a couple of bedside drawers with lamps on. An old style column radiator which I didn't need as it was warm outside. The view from the window overlooked the car park at the rear of the property with trees and the residential street behind. Overall, a really nice, comfortable room. The toilet was very close to the wall, my knees could touch it when sitting, but it was a small ensuite. The buildings in Harrogate are old and beautiful. People didn't need large rooms back then. You come to Harrogate for it's period charm.

Lovely but getting expensive
This is the second time staying at the Camberley, last time 13 months ago. Nothing to complain about only a few little things if i was being picky. Its great to see that the rooms have been updated stayed in room 2 this time which was really nicely decorated, bright and modern, lovely comfy bed and pillows, comfortably heated not drab as room 10 was 13 months ago! Tea and coffee in room but no little biscuit this time and no artificial sweeteners either in the room or downstairs where the spares are kept. No where to hang wet towels, needed some extra hooks in the bathroom, lovely toiletries in the bathroom too. Nice little fridge in the room to keep your own fresh milk and drinks in etc. Didn't stay for breakfast this time so unable to comment, though have to say very disappointed that the price has doubled in the last 13 months which may make me look at other places next time as after all it is only, but a very nice B & B with the convenience of its own car park. Lovely friendly owner obliged to let us check in early.

2/10 Poor

Inconsiderate people
Stayed due to business trip. (Room 1) Lovely looking room and shower unit, nice warm radiators made it a cosy cosy shower. Nice touch with the in room fridge, excellent Tele, long curtains, bed was comfy. Tight squeeze toilet, creaky floor, takes some time for warm water for sink. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from upstairs, non stop chatting till 1am (even heard through ear defenders!) Walking around, hearing of water pipes around the place late at night and the SLAMMING of doors!!! What is it with people and slamming doors? Inconsiderate people, haven't a clue. Owner(?) sounded like she had COVID with amount of coughing. Such a nice room all in all and I loved the shower but I got minimal sleep from the noise but for the cost for central Harrogate not surprising faults. Ain't chancing it again with here. Sorry.

Really Nice BnB close to Harrogate Town Centre
My stay was for one night and without breakfast as I needed to be away before breakfast was served. On my arrival I was given a warm welcome and allocated room * which is a twin on the top floor. The room was a nice size, clean and what looked to be a recently refurbished en-suite shower room which was really lovely. Tea and Coffee were available in the room which also had a hairdryer and Ironing facility. The beds were really comfortable and the room a nice temperature. The room overlooked the rear of the property and was very quiet. The Camberley has a reasonable sized car park at the rear of the property. I found The Camberley provided everything I needed for the one night stay and is in close proximity to Harrogate Town Centre. I would certainly return if I happen to be back in Harrogate.
