Great stay
Great and welcoming service. The hallways are a bit worn out, but then we were surprised by how nice the room was. It was perfect! The breakfast was amazing.

Comfortable and quaint
Lovely staff, quaint old building and VERY comfortable beds.
Warm and clean, albeit a little dated and need of a bit of TLC in places.
Running tap water for a few mins to get hot water is disappointing (especially as I try to be environmentally friendly) but this is "due to the age of the hotel and the pipework"
I must have half filled a bath before hot water came through!

New Years Eve Stay
An old hotel but staff very efficient and beds very comfortable as well as location right on the seafront. For the price you can't ask for more.

Freezing cold
Hotel was feezing cold. Room was nice inside but very cold. Radiators where on but bearly warm to the touch. I asked reception for a additional heater, i was told no problem one will be brought up but never happened. If you stay here make sure you have your wooly socks and a coat to sleep in.

Avoid if possible
Average hotel at best. No idea how its a 4 star. At very best its a 3 star hotel. Central heating was continually noisy thoughout the night. Windows are double glazed so you hear everyone at 5:30am in the street. Dust everywhere.. not great at all. Will never return.

Friendly staff and well located
Very friendly receptionist. The hotel is in need of upgrading but is nice and clean. I didn't sleep very well as mattress was a bit too soft but everyone has their own preferences.
Well located and we had a beautiful view of the seafront and great value for money and would stay again.
