Central rooms in Manchester!
Gardens hotel is centrally located within Manchester, close to public transport and walkable distance to sites in the city centre. Great for my short stay the room was comfortable, warm and much larger than I expected of a single room. Staff were friendly and check in/out was very smooth. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Great location , nice & clean room . Well worth the price

Good 6.0
There was a sophisticated TV but no signal. Apparantly this occurred often in the hotel. The main front door was very heavy and hard to open. The flight of steps from the pavement to the door would benefit from the addition of a handrail to hold when manouvering with a suitcase.

What have housekeepers done with my jumper!?
Very tired hotel, but the worst part, I left a jumper in the room. Called as soon as I got home and realised and told sorry nothing found, without even checking!!

One night in Manchester
I wanted a one night stop over and really wanted the cheapest (cost effective) room/hotel. I spotted the hotel at £28 a night, so naturally thought it would not be very good, especially with the location, right in the centre of Manchester. My colleagues were very sceptical and joked I would be actually sleeping in Piccadilly Gardens !! How wrong ....... The hotel and room was not obviously 5 star BUT I could not fault anything for the price. Room was a single with coffee and tea, TV shower and all toiletries. Breakfast, if booked when you check in was £5 !! Continental AND full English, with all the drinks you could ever need. Service was quick and efficient and staff very friendly. For a stop over couldn't fault it. Well done.

The Gardens Hotel, Central and reasonably priced,
Cold room during the night but this was due to single glazing, lifted the curtains onto the window cill, cured the problem. Lovely helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast, both cooked and continental was absolutely great, and well presented All in all a great stay at a brilliant location

overnight stay
It is a lovely hotel very deceiving doesn’t look much from the outside but lovely inside. The staff were all lovely, bedroom was just a fine size, shower was good. The room was warm even without heating. The breakfast is great I would definitely book that with the hotel. The only downside is the floors squeak a lot as it’s an older building but it didn’t stop us from having a lovely stay. If your a light sleeper maybe not for you. Loads of area for having a drink at night.

Fair 4.0
No toothbrushes provided, nor a hair dryer and the fact that you dont get separate set of shower gel makes it not worth to what you paid for, check out time is also bit early at 11am and an additional £29 has to be paid if you demand a longer stay, not the best place you can find

Stayed in a twin room with my son. Very comfortable with good facilities, the only downside is the noise from outside but we got used to it. Have stayed here before and came back as the hotel is extremely convenient - right in the centre of town and by all transport links
