"The dinner buffet has so many delicious options and such high quality food that you should make it a priority to eat there. The hotel is definitely of the era in which it was built but I think that adds charm. The hotel does provide a free shuttle bus to the sapporo train station. If I come back to sapporo I highly expect to stay there again."

"The food was amazing from the dinner to breakfast. Rooms were large & our bath had its own onsen tub. Make sure you inquire & make a reservation for the shuttle from Sapporo station to the Ryokan because it is a very far distance into the countryside."

"Spectacular location and views for a snowy wonderland in winter. The lobby and sitting areas are beautiful and peaceful. It is quite remote but with a free daily transfer bus available for Toyako or Toya station.

Good varieties buffet choices. Receptionists and butlers are welcoming and helpful.
We loved the valet skiing services. The staff are so accommodating and helpful.
Overall we all enjoyed our stay very much. We will keep coming back.

"It is a really nice place in Japanese tradition where you walk barefoot in the entire building after giving up your shoes at the entrance every time you walk in. The onsen is nice with an outdoor pool. Albeit nicely done, the hotel is probably a bit as it did not have any USB or similar connectors in the rooms. Turnign off all room lights at night worked in the end only by using a torch and shuting off the master switch for everything."

"Nonokaze Resort is luxurious stay from the room view, spacious room, luxurious big onsen baths (outdoor bath was spectacular view of lake toya), good buffet breakfast and dinner with lake Toya view. Nice walk around the lake just outside the hotel. And night walk at the illumination tunnel nearby."

"Great hotel for the value! The onsen was better than I expected with a sauna, cold plunge and multiple baths. Spacious rooms and comfy bedding. This was a great spot to share a room with a few friends during our stay in Sapporo.. a bit of a trek into the city but definitely doable. I would stay here again!"

"Very truly, Villa Fukuza is the coolest place I have ever stayed in. The “tent” is the most luxurious of glamping experiences, and the owners’ hospitality is the most welcoming in all of Japan. I highly recommend staying here and experiencing their beautiful sauna. A hidden gem in a most lovely setting!"

"Easy drive from furano. Etc unlimited pass is definitely the way to go (it makes sense for us as we r doing a round trip from Sapporo to Asahikawa, furano, noboribetsu and beyond). Easy to find. Hotel parking was only across the street. Dinner and breakfast buffet were excellent with TOO many to choose from. Simply awesome. We played a 45-min table tennis after dinner (500 yen to rent paddles and extra set of balls). Very fun. 5 different types of hot spring to choose from. Out of the world....
