Bad leadership/management at the hotel
While the location is impeccable and staff worked hard on serving customers, my family felt there was a lack of hospitality in this upscale premise. Obviously, the management/leadership of the hotel causes such a major disappointment. Staff training on how to deal with unspecified situations is urgently needed. Rules are rigid and hidden fees are prevalent for any non-written requests. I also provided comments onsite to a staff and service manager, but we never heard back from them or or the manager on duty.

Aging but lovely property in a delightful part of Sapporo. Direct access to the city subway is a highlight. Current rates (winter 22-23) are very attractive for such a good hotel. It's old school but I love it!

Great place to stay with a great view.
The experience was good. The view was amazing and the Japanese breakfast was really something to look forward to every morning. The hotel is a bit dated but it was clean and well maintained. Definitely enjoyed my stay here and would recommend.
