The facilities were nice, but I feel like the entire thing was poorly planned. For one, we were not told that we needed to call a specific man who actually owns the place to get the key/access to our room. My phone doesn't work in Chile, and if I didn't have a guide w/a phone, I would've been in trouble. I bought this room because it had free wifi and a kitchen. For the first four days, I was in one room that just wasn't well-cleaned. The sheets were very dingy and the kitchen and fridge were dirty as well. I was moved to a new room which was much nicer and cleaner, but the inconvenience of having to move was extremely awkward to me.
The wifi? Garbage. I had 2 good days of wifi and 2 days without any wifi and 14 days of wifi that cut off every other minute. The guy who owned the place was also very touchy feely and creepy, and he constantly got angry at me for calling to ask him to fix the wifi. His wife was also very invasive; she constantly used her master key to get into the room when I didn't answer in less than 2 seconds, and there was no way to stop her from doing so.
Despite that, the location was really nice and central, lots of places to visit and easy access to a major landmark in Santiago as well as the metro and numerous buses. Lots of places to get food as well, and taxis are easy to access. It's a bit noisy at night if you're on the main road, but if you live in the city, it should be fine.
