Had a lovely overnight stay at Chelsea Guest House,very helpful service provided by Catriona and staff,Very friendly Easy check-in and check-out.We stayed in room 106 which was on the ground floor surprisingly heard hardly any noise from outside ,spotlessly clean,comfortable bed,lovely shower,we would choose to stay here again thank you

Nice hotel - shame about the noise

Hotel was comfortable and a good base for a weekend in London. Unfortunately the hotel was being redecorated while we were there so the noise and work did spoil it a bit.

Had a lovely stay! The place was very clean and easily accessible by taxi. A bonus is that there’s a McDonald’s right next door—perfect for a quick bite if you’re in a rush. Do note that in the evenings, it can get a bit lively with people singing or playing music loudly. It didn’t bother me, but if you’re sensitive to noise, it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, a great stay!

Thin walls need sound insulation room 22

Room 22 down in the basement single room. Expected it to be lovely and quiet for an early start for a charity event. Gone midnight I was awoken by the sound of water running loudly and quickly almost down the wall in the corner. I thought I'd left a tap on but 2 people came to their room amd must have had a shower. The stud walls were SO thin I could hear everything. The occupants got up at 5 a.m and although they tried to be quiet, I was still in the wide awake club after very poor sleep

Nice and clean room. Steep, narrow stairs but that’s a London classic. The door to the room was very thin and not tight. Every time someone else was moving outside it sounded like they were in the room. Def a lack of privacy in that sense. Didn’t help with the 4 man reno crew working just outside the door all morning. Room only had window in bathroom and in ceiling. Had to find a stick to close the ceiling window blinds after waking up in full daylight at 5.30 am.
