A First Experience, Will Try Again
This was my first time trying out a Capsule and kinda knew what to expect. overall a lovely experience except for the small space for Lockers is not so convinient but safe for female travelers as this was all Female. The Storage and Shower rooms are on the same floor but you would sleep on the different floor. My Medium Hardcase and Carry on could not fit in the locker so that was a bit uncomfortable but as there is just only females we got in and out of the locker room alright as not everyone is using the spaces at the same time. The Lounge area is lovely, you can eat there or browse on your laptop and there are a couple of private cubes you use aswell. The Capsule spaces are very lovely and clean. I slept well both night until I heard someone walked in with their shoes. You get a bag with Nightware, Slippers and tooth paste and Toothbrush to use so no need to bring Night wear on your vacation as most hotels give them to use. On first night someone took my Capsule but the staff got me a new one. The guest did not follow the rules and should not stay at Capsules anymore.

THE BEST
Amazing facility!!! It was beautiful, comfortable and clean! This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel and I'll definitely stay here again. I love that the lockers where close to the hygiene area and the entrance has a QR code so only residents can enter. I felt completely safe here rooming with all women is wonderful! The outside environment is incredible as well! It is a living environment!

Facility and staff were helpful and you’re able to drop off your luggage early, and store it there your last day. Amenities and stay were totally fine. It does feel a bit crowded in the evening and morning when everyone is trying to get ready. Waiting for the elevator can try your patience - since there’s only 1 for ~9floors. But that’s the people, and not the location. It is a capsule hotel, so mornings can be abruptly awoken if your neighbor doesn’t wake up from their alarm. Everyone else can hear it. Again- the people, not the location’s issue. I’ve never had an issue before with other people’s alarms waking me up at other capsule/hostle. It’s a bit of a walk from Shinjuku station. So if you have luggage, it’s inconvenient. There are plenty of taxi if you don’t want to deal with walking. Even the metro was about an 8min walk. It is in a bar area, but was totally safe.

I enjoyed my stay here. As a first timer in Japan this was definitely a cool experience. Every clean, and quiet. However, the only downfalls was that it was too hot in the pods. Once you close the shades at night it becomes really hot. And the beds are very hard. I felt like I was sleeping on a road. My back killed me. I felt like leaving because it was so hard. But other than that truly did like the cleanness and the details.

I didn’t love it or hate it. The pros are that it’s conveniently located to Shinjuku main areas, the pods are mostly comfortable, amenities are handy including loungewear, slippers and toothbrush, hairdryers in locker area, the checkin process relatively easy and staff are very helpful. The shower pressure and temp is great and there is shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The cons are that there is a lot of people in a cramped space, especially when trying to access luggage. There are only 6 sinks and 5 showers for at least 40 people, so mornings are hectic and it’s almost impossible to get a sink to brush your teeth. There are a lot of people staying on one floor and all 4 nights there were people talking loudly until at least 2am. The pillows are atrocious, they are rock hard. I bought a pillow from ikea after one night. There is only one lift so it takes a long time to get up and down. The emergency stairs are locked which I found concerning. If anything happened you are trapped inside. The 9th floor lounge is ok. There is a basic vending machine but that’s it. There are no kitchen amenities which is a shame. I would prefer to stay somewhere else next time, but I would also stay here again for the convenience and price. This place left me with mixed feelings.

We stayed one night for an experience. Clean, safe, and in a fantastic location—all at a super budget-friendly price. Definitely recommend for a unique experience. I’d suggest playing some low-key music on the lounge floor. Everyone was so polite and quiet that, even with a good number of people around, that even a plastic bag crinkling sounded like a drum solo. Lol. The silence was so intense which made it more distracting than relaxing.

It's women's only and the capsules are very nice. They provide essentials and sleepwear every night. It felt very safe and the area around was quite convenient as well with convenient stores nearby and subway stations less than a ten min walk away.

It’s ok
My daughter and I stayed one night for the novelty of it. The capsule itself was not uncomfortable, but there’s no air moving once you pull your shade down. The lights in the hallway are never dimmed, so it makes it difficult to sleep with the shade up. The sleep test mechanics make noise which can be distracting. The space was clean and easy to access.

I only stayed for a few hours so I didn’t end up sleeping but it was so cool, great things provided, super clean, pod was very spacious, I like how it analyses your sleep pattern. Id say some women don’t understand what quiet means though, talking and laughing loudly when you clearly shouldn’t. The capsule is shut by a thin paper, make sure you request ear plugs because even just laying there I can imagine it’s hard to sleep if you’re a light sleeper I could hear women even just sighing in their capsule. Otherwise I would definitely stay in this next time as it felt very safe with all women

Creepy cameras
This hotel films you in bed, and had a microphone in your capsule. I found this out when it was too late for me to cancel. Moreover, I’d recommend only staying here if you travel light. There was absolutely no spare room to get your bags open and you are always in someone’s way if you try. Capsule hotels are set up for business travellers and people who have missed the last train. They are being used by people with giant suitcases on extended shopping trips.
