Really recommend Hotel Piet Hein
Great location close to museums and the park. Just outside the canal area and not too far to walk anywhere. The Number 2 tram stop was a short (3 minute) walk away. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was small but well appointed and very comfortable.

Great hotel
Wonderful stay at this very nice hotel. It is clean and very well decorated. The staff is amazingly nice. My room was a little bit small but it was enough for me. I will come back for sure.

Good Stay
Great and Friendly staff, nice local area. Small rooms but really comfy beds. Everything that you need it provided, a comfortable bed, clean bathroom and any other basic amenity you would require. Great for the price. Despite other reviews, I found the wifi really fast. 25 minute walk to Damrak which is the main street or you can take a tram which is right outside.Only downside i found was that the walls are thin and I can hear my neighbours yelling in the morning.

Poor 2.0
We were not able to stay at the hotel. We cancelled our trip due to the coronavirus. In fact, US citizens are not even allowed in Amsterdam right now. We reserved non-refundable rooms, and no exception has been made for the virus or the fact we aren't allowed entry into The Netherlands. My daughter made a separate reservation for the same time period and also for non-refundable rooms, however she did get a refund. We had planned to come next summer instead and stay at this hotel, but we will not be visiting your hotel after all.

Lovely hotel in perfect location!
Hotel Piet Hein was in perfect location to experience Amsterdam within walking distance and access to public transport. The hotel was modern, staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel room had comfortable beds, TV and coffee making facilities, and the bathroom was lovely and modern. Hotel room cleaned and fresh linen provided daily.

Fair 4.0
Disappointed way over priced and over charged on booking , charged in US dollars instead of N Z dollars three nights accomatation came to 800 Nz dollars it’s the worst hotel for the price I have stayed in the past eight months of travel for the price. Told to contact booking company regarding the over charged rate. No help from staff regarding this , the hotel it’s self is nice from outside and nice lounge and breakfast area but room small and very very average
