Our stay was just Awesome!! The friendly Staff at every turn to help you along or answer questions. Hotel was beautiful. Our Room had the Plunge Pool. Let me tell you, its worth it. The experience is so magnificent that its wonderful for photos. The Food was Outstanding!! From Room service 24hr to the Buffet to the Steak House. Room was truly Amazing. The large shower Room. The exquisite bath tub. Hotel Staff keeps Your Mini Fridge Stocked everyday and more on request. This was really a beautiful place to experience. Very Thankful To ALL the staff, that make it the best HILTON i have stayed in.

There was a lot of pros and cons to staying at this property. The pros are there are a lot of activities to do for adults and kids. They sent you a link that allows you to see all the weekly activities and also make reservations. The steakhouse was phenomenal. Reservations were very easy to make. We made a reservation every night we were there. Reservations can be made 48 hours in advance, which I absolutely love. In the hotel, they have Thomas Moore travel, which was great because we did all of our tours through them and they offer pick up and drop off service. We did three different tours which we fell in love with each one of them.
Now to the cons, The poolside bar closes at 6 PM. They do have another bar upstairs that opens at eight i believe. I had an issue with the poolside bar trying to close about 10 minutes early on the first couple nights. I was there.
If you order service, like I did be prepared for them to forget your meal at least once. I spoke to Santiago about a order that was supposed to be sent to my room at 1:45 and it did not arrive and he claims they were still making it but when I called at 2:30 they said the order was never made because we weren’t in the room when in reality we had been there.
On the day of checkout, we had requested help with our bags and we needed them at the room by 1250 as our ride would be at the hotel by 1 PM.
At 12:55 we realize they were not coming so we quickly had to carry all of our bags downstairs.

Waited 40 minutes for a room to be available after checking in at 3pm. They said we would received an email to let us know when the room is available but never received that email. When asked for help to change the email for one room so I can order in room service via the link they sent to the proper room#, one front desk refused to help and told me to use the phone in my room to order. So I asked another guy to help, he did it for me. Dining reservation was hard to make for a large group of people since it only allowed to reserve for a max of 6 people. There was always food debris on the hallway floor to our room.

Overall, I think this is a decent resort but there were too many inconveniences and annoyances.
Pros:
The resort is in good shape and clean and the staff members are generally fine.
Cons:
1. The buffet had basically the same food every day. There was no variety.
2. The restaurants are hit or miss. The Italian restaurant and the teppanyaki were good. The others not so good. The Mexican restaurant was terrible and the steak restaurant was inconsistent - some of us good decent steaks and the others were terrible. They also forced us to sit outside which was not pleasant with the heat/humidity and the mosquitos. A few times at various restaurants, they basically forgot our orders and it took 60-90 minutes to get a part of our order.
3. The nightly entertainment was lame.
4. They only gave mangoes to the paid Enclave members. You would think in an all inclusive resort in Mexico, there would be plenty of mangoes to go around but they were only available for Enclave members (although some waiters at the buffet were nice enough to sneak you some if you tipped them well).
Overall, it wasn't a bad stay. Several years ago, we stayed at another all inclusive in Cancun that had a different themed buffet every day, mangoes on a stick and at buffets for everyone and fun shows nightly.

My family of 11 visited from August 8th-13th. The hotel was very clean and maintained. Beautiful gym and spa. Easy check in and check out. Very poor entertainment. The buffet and restaurants were awful and most nights we didn't finish eating. We made our reservations with the concierge for all of the restaurants when we arrived. We were told that a restaurant may not be able to accomodate all 11 of us at one table but when we arrive, we can let them know that we'd like the tables put together.
On our 2nd night at the Steakhouse Flama, the hostess was very rude and informed us that we could not sit together and so we were seated at 4 tables across from each other. There were at least 7 tables in the back unoccupied and I asked if we could move so our party could sit together and she said "NO". It wasn't until I expressed my displeasure with the seating arrangement that our waiter Isai moved our tables across the restaurant so we could sit together. While waiting for our food, another family came in and the restaurant staff placed their tables together so their large party would be together. Disappointing trip!
My teenage son mistakenly hung his clothing on the balcony and there was a storm the next morning. We saw his clothing on the ground, but by the time the rain stopped, everything had been picked up. Concierge asked security and they stated nothing was found. Which was odd especially when we saw the clothing. I doubt guests picked up a stranger's boxer underwear.
