"Quite an unusual ‘nightclubby’entrance and hotel theme. Very dark but fun.
We had a suite that was perfect, light clean comfortable. Coffee machine, bathrobes, good bathroom amenities, king bed. Unusual selection in the ‘mini bar area’. It was a hot day but room was lovely. and cool.
There was music until 1am apparently but we didn’t hear it in our first floor room. Very quiet.

"I loved the idea of staying in a more local hotel and not a chain and I'm so glad I did. This old building has been renovated into a darling hotel and I absolutely loved it. Even the terrifying circular staircase which is hard to carry suitcases up and down, I would do again for the chance to stay at the Staunton. The service was excellent and the

. Staff are very nice.
Disappointed we didn’t get the turn down service as I told my husband he didn’t need to draw the blinds before we leave for dinner as someone would come to do it. Windows are not soundproof as hotel claims. Had to ask for ear plugs. Bed wasn't stable so when one tossed/ turned it would wobble

was delicious! If i could pass on a couple of improvements to hotel it would be larger size dressing gowns, they would fit size 8 perfect which most people are not, maybe it was just our room! To have a bottle opener in the room too would have been useful. These did not take away from our stay, it was...
