- One of London't most beloved attractions is the Tower Bridge. London's Tower Bridge is one of the most recognizable bridges in the world. Its Victorian Gothic style stems from a law that forced the designers to create a structure that would be in harmony with the nearby Tower of London. Taking photographs of the Tower bridge is a favorite London tourist activity, but you can also go inside the bridge, where you'll have a magnificent view over London from the walkway between the two bridge towers.

- City Hall

One of London's most modern buildings, City Hall houses the Greater London Authority (GLA) including the mayor of London and the London Assembly. The GLA is responsible for the administration of Greater London. Completed in July 2002 and situated on the south bank of the Thames River near the Tower Bridge, City Hall was designed by the firm of the well-known British architect Norman Foster, who also designed the Gherkin and the Millennium Bridge in London. He was also responsible for the renovation of Berlin's famed Reichstag.

Transportation near The City of London

In the city the best way to travel is by the Tube as its inner city stations are close to the majority of London’s attractions. London’s famous black cabs are convenient but expensive, and bus travel, although comprehensive, is slow due to overcrowded roads. Self-drive isn’t recommended due to the congestion charge, the expense of parking and the city’s day-long heavy traffic.
