Arrived four hours before scheduled check in and they were able to find a room available for us anyway. Nice surprise after 28 hour flight

Very good
The good and not so good.
The standard room was tight for space such that even an ironing board was getting in the way of free movement. It was well maintained and clean though. The public spaces in the hotel were well kept and beautiful. From the first impression of the reception which was classy and stylish, to the rather basic standard room was a disappointment. The hotel is in a highly convenient location to Charing Cross, Soho, Covent Garden, and great shopping.

less than happy
Pokey room advertised as a king but was actually a queen room. Reasonable comfort however horrible service.

We stayed for three nights in June. We arrived early in the morning due to our flight arriving at that time of day from Australia. We were delighted to find that our room was available immediately. This made a big difference as we were able to unpack and freshen up before heading for the day. The delux room was a good size for a London hotel. The bed was very comfortable and there was lots of hot water at good pressure in the adequately sized bathroom. Overall we had a great stay in this conveniently located high quality hotel. My one irritation was that the lift control system failed to recognise our door cardkey on four occasions, making it hard to get to the correct floor with our bags. The key access system on the floor access door and the room door were also temperamental. This is frustrating to tired visitors with heavy bags trying too get to their room, but in then grand scheme of things was a relatively minor problem.

Lovely rooms and delightful staff
This hotel is in a very convenient location close to the British Museum and other amenities. The staff were very helpful and it was much appreciated to have an early check in to my room after a long journey. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to others.

Fantastic hotel in a great location! Well serviced by a number of bus routes that took us everywhere we needed to go. And within easy stroll to Soho, Covent garden, and the west end. We’d stay here again next time we’re in London.
