Planning a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to fully appreciate the city’s rich historical and cultural offerings. You can explore iconic landmarks such as the magnificent cathedral, the Uffizi Gallery, and the Ponte Vecchio, alongside delightful cafes and charming shops. With such a wealth of museums, churches, and architectural wonders, Florence provides great value for money, making it a fantastic option for travellers on a budget.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals for hotels in Florence, visit the Deals or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Enabling email alerts or push notifications ensures you stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping you secure the best hotel deal. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, making it easier to find cheap hotels that suit your needs. You could be among the first to know if rooms become available or prices drop, perfect for planning your getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could allow you to save on your stay in a hotel in Florence. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the rates are on the higher side, we will recommend alternative dates that could help you secure a more favourable deal.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Florence's superb public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well-connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
