Youth Hostel at Hotel Price
Youth Hostel at Hotel Price: this hotel markets itself as a cool place to stay and charges premium prices, but it's actually designed to house students doing study abroad or similar programs and is run like a youth hostel. While the building is new & clean, the "cool" rooms are poorly designed (toe stubbing step into bathroom-too few shelves--lights that are hard to work-and shocking for a new interior designed for students and other young people, very few plugs or chargers). The in-room teapot didn't work right, and they provided just one teabag anyway. The worst part is on the night before we were to catch an early flight, they staged an amplified comedy night in the courtyard that lasted until after 11:00PM and was so loud we couldn't sleep even using the foam earplugs provided by the hotel. This is no way to treat guests who are paying nearly $300 a night. The place claims to be all progressive and environmentally responsible, but there was no evidence of any of this other than the hype--they didn't even provide recycling bins. Although draped with cheesy cliches and nonsensical slogans, the place is a bare bones dorm posing as a hotel.

Needs some improvements.
Since you can’t turn on the airconditioner because of the Italian law, I have to open the windows at night to cool down the room . However, there is no screen so mosquitoes get inside and feasted on us. We can’t sleep at night because of this hot, humid and very uncomfortable condition. The cleaning and changing of the bedsheets are not satisfactory for this kind of hotel.

the only criticism I have, is that I had to repeatedly ask for my room to be serviced, and toilet paper every single day for three days. apart from that, the front desk are very obliging, and the breakfast is widely varied, and has a splendid setting, with exceptional staff, ready and willing to accommodate to your specific requirements, for example, soy milk cappuccinos :)
