Great hotel in fantastic location. Driving in and out is a nightmare. The parking arrangement let’s it down. You have to pay them separately and their payment machine was not working so you then have to go to their office. The hotel didn’t want to know, it would be a better arrangement for their clients if the hotel took the charge and passed it on to the parking garage so that customers are not inconvenienced.

We stayed for a week in July 2026. The hotel was recently refurbished so everything is new. It was the middle of a heat wave and the aircon was fantastic, almost too cold (but the staff can adjust further if needed). The family room was spacious for the three of us. The usual amenities are available - but they provided a steamer rather than ironing board and iron (I have not asked if this was available). Has USB A and USB C charging ports in the room. It has lift access so no lugging suitcases...

Amazing experience staying here! The villa is stunning you feel like you’re living as royalty. The gardens are beautiful despite the extreme heat of Italy.
Don’t miss a sunset in the gardens.
We had dinner twice, both nights had lovely food and service. The Buffett breakfast is definitely worth adding to your stay.
The shuttle that takes you into town is such a good idea. Even though we had a car we didn’t have to worry about trying to park near the city to explore.

This was a last minute booking and I didn’t have much time there due to an early morning flight. But the service was excellent, room clean and had all the amenities needed. Rooftop bar was a bonus with great views and of course an Aperativo. Would def recommend

The breakfast buffet was beautiful: the staff attentiveness, the food, and the view of the Santa Maria Novella Piazza and Bascilica. The breakfast food and drink was exceptional: with the range and quality available. Full credit to the wait and kitchen...

We had an amazing room overlooking the Piazza. There was some noise from the activities going on till midnight which might bother young families but as a family of four with slightly older kids we loved everything about it. It had such a great atmosphere, staff were friendly and breakfast each day was great. I definitely stay again if we're ever back in Florence.

Book for the cheapest times: For those looking for an affordable getaway, the best time to visit Florence is during January, February, and November, when hotel prices are lower. Planning a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to fully appreciate the city’s rich historical and cultural offerings. You can explore iconic landmarks such as the magnificent cathedral, the Uffizi Gallery, and the Ponte Vecchio, alongside delightful cafes and charming shops. With such a wealth of museums, churches, and architectural wonders, Florence provides great value for money, making it a fantastic option for travellers on a budget.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals for hotels in Florence, visit the Deals or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Enabling email alerts or push notifications ensures you stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping you secure the best hotel deal. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, making it easier to find cheap hotels that suit your needs. You could be among the first to know if rooms become available or prices drop, perfect for planning your getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could allow you to save on your stay in a hotel in Florence. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the rates are on the higher side, we will recommend alternative dates that could help you secure a more favourable deal.
Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Florence's superb public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well-connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
