Excellent value, new building, very good service,
I had a very good experience staying for about a week. The hotels building is new and clean, the service is excellent and the location is very convenient - about four minute walk from the south entrance of Ueno station . For Westerners who already have a basic introduction to Japan, this is an excellent hotel Value. Keep in mind that the rooms are very small , most do not have any view. The hotel may be a little challenging to find the first time, because it's set back one block from the main street But that means it's very quiet. There are English written instructions for heating/cooling and most room accessories - see the English instruction book inside the desk. Otherwise ask the attentive staff.

Great hotel near ueno stations!
Fantastic location, close (5 minute walk) to Keisei Skyliner station, JR Ueno station, and Tokyo subway station, near department stores and Ameyokocho shopping and eating. Room is the same as most Tokyo business hotels (really small) but comfortable, clean and efficient. Hotel is better than other business hotels because of the free breakfast and the fact that they had a laundry room (a few dollars/load). Only minor issue is that hotel didn't seem to always have english speaking staff present (though there were english speaking staff, they just weren't always there). I will definitely stay here again! Tip: to get there with your luggage, you may want to cross the street just south of the keisei station and walk three or four short blocks west through the shopping streets to get to the hotel rather than lugging your bags up the stairs for the pedestrian overpass by JR station.

Location is the key factor, new hotel
Location is the key here, basically a stone throw away from Ueno station (which is one of the major station in Tokyo) depending on route, it will take either 5 to 10 minutes to reach the hotel. Being in such a busy location, there are 24 hours restaurants all around the place plus shopping aplenty. hotel wise, this is a relatively new hotel, the facilities are well kept. Being a business hotel (caters to folks that looking for a good location and relatively cheap place to stay) there are not many facilities but whatever given is functional. The free wifi has good speed. The free morning breakfast is surprisingly good, featuring a few variety of pastry, an egg dish, a meat dish and salads. Definitely good enough unless you are looking for 5-stars hotel sort of buffet. I stayed for 4 nights and there was a rotation of the egg and meat dishes every 3 days. The room was expectedly small but very functional, every essential items were there but at a smaller scale, there was a small safe, and the water kettle was the smallest I have seen. Overall the cleanness is impeccable.

Great hotel in a quite area
This hotel is fairly new, clean, well furnished with friendly, English speaking staff. Yes, the room was small and there just a handful of Japanese tv station to watch, but hey, it’s Japan! I was there only one night. There is no closet space at all, just 4 hangers on the wall. It was just myself in the room and I didn’t have a suitcase, just a backpack. Would I return or recommend this place? Yes, but make sure you look at the map carefully. I did, but I already knew the area well enough that I walked to within 30 yards of the hotel without referring to any map. For the price you can’t beat it.

Small but clean and convenient
The location is great. Very small room though. I had a 5 year old with me so availability of the bigger bed (140cm wide) was great. They were opened in 2014 and the building was clean and nice. Free breakfast was a nice addition too. We didn’t use but I saw that they have a laundry room too. We stayed there on Saturday night and Sunday night. Black crows were so loud first night, it woke us up. The same didn’t happen the following night. It is 5 min walk from Ueno station (elevators and escalators available for those who has suitcases and strollers) and less than 1 min walk to 7-Eleven. Very convenient.
