Great location, modern hotel
We first visited this hotel when it first opened, and they are still maintaining the high standard of service after all these years. The location is convenient, within walkable distance to Tokyo station even with suitcases, so a great choice for those who would be doing short trips to Tokyo suburbs. Quite a few convenient stores downstairs. A quiet and safe area at night. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back again and again.

Not staying at Mitsui Garden again
the check in staff was not very service-minded. we touched down at 6am and by the time we arrived at the hotel it was around 8ish. We were requesting that whether if it's possible that if the room is ready earlier to let us check in earlier than 3pm. He just very adamantly said NO. Even though we asked a couple of time it's still a firm NO. We would have felt better even if he just said "we will try our best or we will see how it goes later when guests check out or whatever rather than a firm NO." In any case, this hotel's check in time is 3pm and check out time 11am, which is already out of ordinary whereby check in 2pm and check out by noon.
