"This was my third time staying at this hotel. It is centrally located in a heavily trafficked tourist area, so once you tire of the crowds, you’ll want to explore other interesting areas of the city, many of which are within walking distance of the hotel. My only complaint is that there was no way to control the AC in the room (they were having a heat wave) and I was freezing until I asked and received a small portable heater."
"This is a Great Hotel. Has the perfect location and it is clean, beds are comfortable. Hotel staff is friendly. So convenient to great restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel."
"The hotel is in a perfect location for public transportation and getting anywhere around Oslo at anytime. It truly is a hub and with the Ruter app we had no problem finding where to go, how and when. We ate frequently in the bar on the main floor, the staff there were wonderful and so was the food, the staff in the rooftop lounge treated us so rudely on our first night we never went there again. Make sure you book a room with the breakfast buffet, it is stupendous, the best I have experienced anywhere in my travels. The rooms do have air conditioning but they are not very cool, so open a window. "
"Location is outstanding - close to the harbour between the Central station and the Opera House. Easy walk to the main museums and shopping area and well served by public transport. It also boasts an amazing buffet breakfast included in the price - a really valuable extra in a city with such high restaurant prices. The single room was small, but well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and windows which open for fresh air. "
