This hotel is very old. Elevators were way too small with very little ventilation. Not a big selection of food. The balcony was way too small only two people could fit and that’s standing side by side. Pool was not big at all.

Went with my wife and 2 kids (1 & 3). Super family friendly, the staff were courteous and kind especially to our toddlers. They were easy to work with and accommodating. They really cleaned the room, not just make the bed and give new towels. Feel like they went the extra mile to make our stay incredible. The pools were great and the beach as well. Never felt afraid for my kids or anything, felt very safe while we were here. The only thing I would tell people to be aware of is that if you book an excursion and you have to drive anywhere, you have to stop at other resorts along the way to pick people up. For example, we went to Tulum (incredible!) which is normally about 1.5 hours away. But with all the stops we had to make to pick people up, it took about 4 hours to get there and same on the way back. I would say it was worth it, but just plan accordingly. Overall, a great stay and great vacation. If we ever make it back to Cancun we will be staying here again.

This resort is small but they have everything you need for a wonderful vacation or honeymoon. I love the beautiful views with beautiful blue ocean water. They have Coffee shop with very delicious snacks and desserts. The buffet foods are so great. it is very important to me come to foods at all inclusive resort. Oleos restaurants are amazing. I Can’t wait go back again.

My husband and I were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary with Oleo Cancun Playa and it was nothing short of amazing. We were greeted in the lobby by Gustavo who had us checked in and gave us all the details on where we could find everything and helped us book excursions. We were then escorted to our breathtaking ocean-view room by Isaac who was super sweet and popped a bottle of champagne for us. The room was cleaned daily and service throughout our stay was top tier! Along the way, we met Sergio from Hakka and Azul, Edguardo from Almar, and Abad from El Botanero each of these people made sure we had the most romantic meals and got us an anniversary dessert. Antonio was the best bartender by the pool never leaving our cups empty! Lastly, you can't forget to visit their cafe the Brown Bag each morning and meet up with Leidy who will be sure to greet you with a smile and an amazing Frappe! We will be back to Oleo soon!

Great place to stay for a quick trip. Food could use some work but it wasn’t terrible. Staff is polite. The beach area is kinda slated on a hill, but it’s still in a beautiful location. Just be careful of the rocks. Overall I enjoyed my trip! The views from the Inspira Suite are spectacular.

This stay at the Oleo unfortunately was not as pleasant as my stay 2 years ago. The check in was seamless and the room was ready. Big plus. Dealing with a 1 towel per person was annoying & I had to sign a waiver in order to receive an extra towel. That wasn’t the case 2 years prior. The food was still delicious but it was hit or miss at the Asian restaurant Hakka. The pool appeared to be a fun place although at 8a, people had already saved the lounge chairs making it impossible to get a chair. So unacceptable!!! I informed the employees in the lobby but they didn’t seem to care. The beach was marginal with a rocky entrance. The lifeguard, although cautious, yelled at anyone sitting on the rocks. The ocean was a bit rough during this visit in August and I’m unsure as to when it’s calmer. One day, a “do not clean my room sign” was placed on my door. I don’t know who would do that but after explaining the issue, the room was restocked & lightly cleaned. I was informed that the hotel is under new management therefore the changes and the lack of some services make it difficult for me to return which I will not return for any future stays.
