Good and spacious rooms, but the lack of USB charging points and of a rainfall shower is unusual for a hotel of this alleged class and price. Plus the room door didn’t have the interior locks, which was also a surprise. The spa is good, enjoying the jacuzzi with the views of the mountains was really nice."

After check out, another member of the staff also found me a room where I could work for two hours. They also helped me find the right transportation, even the only one that didn’t speak English used Google translator to help me. The reception staff is the best. "Villa Carlton is a beautifully preserved 1920's building within three or four minutes walk of Zakopane town centre. The public areas of the hotel are very original and retain all the charm of that era. Our room however had been fitted out with cheap white composite wood carpentry which was a rather nasty contrast. The mattress and pillows were of very poor quality. On arrival the room was very clean, but housekeeping was minimal with towels changed once in six nights, and the bath, floors etc...
