"Hotel was relatively new. Easy access to the metro but do require some walk. There were few things to do nearby besides the exhibition center. Room was quite spacious with a good bathtub. Plenty of bottled water provided. It even had a Bose speaker. Swimming pool was decent and never too crowded. Breakfast selection was outstanding and miles ahead of anything offered in Europe or the Americas. IHG members were given drink coupons that you could redeem for wine and such, which was good. "

"Very good breakfast/brunch, luxurious and clean hotel, attached to up-scale mall, huge park across the street. Terrible dinner.
Note on the pool: Nice but they keep the lane lines up so it's not great for kids who want to play and sometimes it's busy with swim classes and lap swimmers."

"the rooms are okay, decent bathrooms and clean rooms. the staff doesn't really speak English so its hard to communicate. breakfast wasn't the greatest, not many options. Hotel rooftop restaurant also didn't have the best food. best part of this hotel is the mall next to it has a lot of good restaurants to eat which is a plus. "

"10/10, Pay for the view against the tower, and you will have the best view in town. Their room service standards are great, so their meat with a glass of red is better than most restaurants, especially since you have the view of the river and the town lights up in the evening. Clean, fresh, nice with a gym that is a normal gym standard and with a real swimming pool. 10/10 for a business trip. Ferry over the river 200 meters outside the hotel as well. Finished of with very friendly staff. "

"The hotel is old but relatively well maintained. The beds are really good and the breakfast is amazing! Don’t expect much from the swimming pool tho. Stayed with my family including two kids of 2&4, it was really nice especially the location giving you fast access to Lujiazui and the bund with a taxi as well as some malls on walking distance. People with small kids - please take a 5min taxi from the hotel to the LCM mall, there’s a peppa pig world on the top floor. "

However, I booked with a VIP booking. When I went to book dinner I checked, and the restaurant refused to honour the 25% discount. I went back to the reception and they also refused. I had made a special trip back with family for dinner, so this was unpleasant. So we went to a non-hotel restaurant.

"This was a winner. A fantastic location, large, clean and lovely rooms, and the Waldorf Staff was so kind and helpful. I loved everything about our stay there. Breakfast is lovely, and as an American struggling with chopsticks, I really appreciated the forks. Just a gorgeous and kind place to stay."

"The hotel location is excellent, right next to the bust Nanjing Road for shopping and dining, and sightseeing. The room we had had a fantastic view and was large and clean.
