Built atop the rugged lava fields along the Kohala Coast, the Vista Waikoloa Resort enjoys warm, tropical weather year-round and its location on the west side of the Big Island guarantees awe-inspiring sunsets at the close of every day. Vista Waikoloa D303, a two bedroom, two bathroom condominium located on the third floor, not only has lovely views of the meticulously manicured landscaping surrounding the resort, but more importantly, the towering dormant volcano Mauna Kea. Vista Waikoloa boasts fantastic amenities you are sure to put to good use, and the resort village of Waikoloa has numerous upscale shopping and dining options, as well as easy access to both white and black sand beaches so you can add swimming and snorkeling to your itinerary.

The mountain view beyond the multiple sliding glass doors at the end of the room takes your breath away immediately upon entering the bright space. To your right, the fully remodeled kitchen maintains a tropical feel thanks to the mango wood cabinetry, and the upgraded stainless steel appliances will get you excited to make some of your favorite meals during your stay. The chef is able to socialize with friends and family seated at either the breakfast bar or the indoor dining table for six. The adjacent living room’s ample furniture allows the entire group to get comfortable and keep up with their favorite TV shows on the flatscreen TV. The view from the wrap-around lanai beyond the glass sliders is so unreal, you’ll want to pinch yourself. Dine al fresco or settle into the seats outside the master bedroom for a nightcap.

The master bedroom has direct access to the lanai, and from the king-size bed, you have gorgeous mountain views dotted with palm trees. You’ll be spoiled with the mounted smart TV and your own private ensuite, which includes dual vanities with mango wood cabinetry, a walk-in shower, and an oversized soaking tub. The brightly painted guest room has two twin beds, perfect if you’re bringing the kids, and the guest bathroom with its walk-in shower is nearby. The unit also includes a full-size stacked washer and dryer so you only have to pack a couple of swimsuits, and free wifi so you can post those vacation selfies guilt-free.

Vista Waikoloa knows that its guests demand the best amenities, and that’s exactly what they provide. The large pool is great for swimming laps, and you have the choice of two hot tubs to soak your weary muscles in. There is a BBQ area just outside the community pavilion, which is filled with tables, so you can devour your freshly grilled food in the fresh air. This unit also includes one parking space near the pool and elevator, easily accessible for days that you want to head out and seek adventure. There are multiple beaches worth visiting in the area, but if you’re looking to swim, don’t miss Hapuna Beach. If snorkeling is more your thing, head to 49 Black Sand Beach instead. Take a stroll back in time as you meander amongst the thousands of petroglyphs carved by the native Hawaiians in Puako Petroglyph Park, located less than a mile away. Finally, shop til you drop or splurge on a dinner fit for royalty at either the nearby Kings’ Shops or Queen’s Marketplace.
