The El Cortez is the BEST VALUE in VEGAS
There was nothing to fault at all about the historic El Cortez. Everything about the stay was fantastic. It's so easy to get around and average Lyft cost anywhere was only $11...$25 to airport but you could use their free transportation back and forth. The restaurants and entertainment are above average, beautiful comfortable and spacious rooms...it's definitely a place I'd stay at again when I return to Las Vegas!

Great historic hotel on Fremont!
Such a neat historic property! We really enjoyed it, location was perfect. Only thing we did not like was that in our 3 nights there the room was not turned over fully. Beds not made, bathroom not cleaned, basically only the trashes dumped. We didn't tip the housekeeping staff til the day we left so I don't know if that's why they didn't clean the room, but I've never had that happen before at a hotel so it was disappointing.
