Value for money. 4 night stay. Great position for MCG and restaurants, shopping, trams etc. Bed was very comfortable, great night sleep. Too many two way light switches, was very puzzling was only neg. Would stay again if same value.

Punthill pros and cons
Punthill is a basic hotel in a good location. The rooms are a little rundown (there was damage within the bathroom that had been patched with tape), and the bed was softer than I would have liked (perfect if you enjoy sleeping on a cloud). But having access the a kitchenette in the studio, that was adequately stocked, is useful for those that don’t want to enjoy all the tasty treats from the surrounding eateries.

This was an excellent location, right in the middle of Chinatown. It was quiet, clean and had everything I needed. Checkin and checkout were swift and staff were friendly and approachable. I'd come back again.
