We stayed here because my husband liked Akihabara, but the area wasn't my cup of tea. For being the most expensive hotel of the five hotels we stayed in Japan, this offered the least amenities e.g. no pjs or room slippers.
The hotel itself was beautiful and it did have a gym, but my husband said you have to reserve it and there's only room for one person at a time.
We wanted to eat at their pizza and bar, but it coincidentally was closed the only two days we were there.
The front desk staff were VERY helpful as I don't speak Japanese. They gave good advice about not doing luggage transport because it wouldn't be worth it. And even though it didn't have the usual amenities, i was able to borrow a nail clipper and flat iron/curling iron combo from the front desk. I would've liked a water refill station somewhere.
Train wise, you're about a 10-15 minute walk from two train stations, but keep in mind you will have to walk through a crowded area with all your luggages.
