Inner Harbor
Baltimore's Inner Harbour buzzes with maritime charm and family-friendly attractions right along the water's edge. The National Aquarium's glass pyramid rises above historic tall ships like the USS Constellation, creating a perfect blend of entertainment and history. Stroll the brick-paved waterfront promenade to catch street performers, visit the Maryland Science Centre, or snap photos with the glowing Domino Sugar sign across the harbour. Seafood restaurants serve up legendary Maryland crab cakes alongside waterfront views, though expect tourist prices. Hotels cluster along the harbour with premium rates for those coveted water views. The area's excellent walkability makes exploration easy, while water taxis offer scenic transport between attractions when your feet need a break.

Fells Point
Fells Point blends Baltimore's maritime past with a lively present through cobblestone streets lined with 18th-century buildings. Over 120 pubs and restaurants create a buzzing atmosphere where you can grab a craft beer after exploring the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park or checking out the waterfront promenade. The neighborhood's historic ships and museums tell stories of its seafaring heritage while the harbour views keep things scenic. Dining options range from oyster bars to taverns where seafood reigns supreme. Water taxis connect you to Inner Harbour every 15 minutes, though the compact area is perfectly walkable despite those charming but challenging cobblestones. Boutique hotels and historic inns offer authentic stays with period touches and harbour views.

Mount Vernon
Mount Vernon offers a cultured escape in Baltimore, where history and the arts take centre stage. The Washington Monument stands tall among elegant townhomes, while world-class attractions like the Walters Art Museum and Peabody Conservatory fill your days with artistic discovery. Cobblestone squares and historic brownstones create a sophisticated backdrop for cultural exploration. The area serves up refined dining in upscale bistros and historic taverns. Boutique hotels in converted mansions provide luxurious accommodation, while the light rail connects you to city centre in just minutes. This walkable district lets you soak up 19th-century charm at your own pace.

Harbor East
Harbour East offers a sleek waterfront playground where glass towers meet the gentle lap of Baltimore's Inner Harbour. Stroll along pristine promenades past luxury shops like Anthropologie and Lululemon before catching a film at Landmark Theatre. The National Aquarium and Civil War Museum provide cultural balance to all that upscale shopping and dining. Waterfront restaurants serve a diverse range of dishes, from fresh seafood to craft cocktails, all accompanied by stunning harbour views. Getting around is a breeze—walk the wide pavements or hop a water taxi to explore other Baltimore attractions. High-end hotels make perfect bases for your harbour adventures.

Downtown Baltimore
City centre Baltimore wraps you in history while keeping things firmly in the now. The National Aquarium's glass towers reflect in harbour waters near historic tall ships and the red-brick charm of the Hippodrome Theatre. Art lovers can lose themselves in museums while sports fans head to Camden Yards for baseball action. Getting around is a breeze with multiple metro stations and a waterfront promenade perfect for exploring on foot. After dark, Power Plant Live! lights up with music and energy while harbour restaurants serve Maryland's famous crab cakes. City centre hotels range from business-focused to harbor-view luxury with something for every traveller.

Baltimore and related destinations
Brick and barnacles define this harbour city where the National Aquarium's sharks glide past glass walls just steps from tall ships bobbing in the Inner Harbour. Catch an Orioles game at Camden Yards, where baseball feels properly nostalgic amid warehouse architecture. The quirky American Visionary Art Museum celebrates untrained artists with installations that defy categorization. Fort McHenry inspired 'The Star-Spangled Banner' during a battle you can relive through daily flag ceremonies. Little Italy's restaurants serve cannoli worth the inevitable wait. For the full harbour experience, water taxis connect attractions while providing skyline views that explain why locals call this 'Charm City' with zero irony.

"Excellent customer service"
Pier 5 Hotel Baltimore
"The facility was clean, but this beautiful hotel needs a facelift! A good facelift. It looks very old and outdated which made it seem dirty, which is unfortunate. It is located in a most beautiful area and houses two very nice restaurants. I really didn't interact with the staff that much, so I can't really speak on that too deeply. I did not like that there were not any DO NOT DISTURB signs. I did ask the night guy about it and asked him my room not be cleaned, to which he replied he would handle it. They came and cleaned anyway, and didn't even leave tissue paper, which I had to ask the night guy for that same night I asked housekeeping not to clean especially because I asked them not to clean, and he had to look very hard to find tissue paper. It looked like he might have borrowed a roll from somewhere. Not a big deal, but it kind of is at the same time. We ended up having to use Kleenex the last morning we were there. Also, the hallways, and elevators were VERY HOT. Would I stay there again-maybe. I now know what other options I have."
Hotel Indigo Baltimore Downtown by IHG
"Nice hotel great bar and food!!!"
Hyatt Place Baltimore Inner Harbor
"Stayed 2 nights for a concert. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, especially being fully booked and all the fans coming in and out. The room was very spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I loved how around the sink there was space to put my toiletries/makeup. Great things close by in the area as well and easy to get to places via transit/car. The parking fee is a bit exorbitant, but I get it given the proximity to the harbor, but there were other cheaper options nearby so it wasn't terrible."
The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore
"We came to Baltimore for a concert at M&T Bank Stadium, and this hotel was in a great location! The stadium was only about a 20 minute walk away, which was super convenient. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view of the city and the water. We also really appreciated the parking situation. There’s a parking garage just around the corner that costs $24 + tax per night. You just need to provide your license plate number when you check in. Once parked, there’s a door from the garage area where you can enter the hotel using your room key, which made things really easy. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Baltimore!"
Days Inn by Wyndham Baltimore Inner Harbor
"Staff was very nice and helpful, explained parking situation well (which was a $38 daily rate) and also explained amenities thoroughly. Air conditioning worked well."
