Exceptional 10.0
Romantic getaway
First of all let me start by saying this B&B is fabulous. When I arrived there was a mixup with my reservation and they had me staying in a different room which was remedied very quickly . If I have any complaints at all it would be they used to give you an option to have morning coffee delivered to your room . The option is still on their nightly menu but the service is no longer available . It was a very nice plus . Breakfast was good although the eggs were overcooked . Staff is very helpful and very friendly, I would recommend this place to anyone for a little romantic getaway .

Perfect for vacation *and* business
Excellent place to stay! My room was gorgeous, clean, and quiet. Wifi was super fast, which was important because I arrived needing to finish a presentation I had to give the next morning. The cooked-to-order breakfast was a wonderful treat; I usually end up eating granola bars for breakfast when I'm away. The staff were friendly and helpful. Two or three blocks away, Vaccaro's Italian Pastry Shop (which also has cafe seating) had fabulous gelato and was a delightful place to wind down at the end of the day.

Good 6.0
I'd give a mixed 6.5-7 stars out of 10
A little tiny bit off the beaten path in Baltimore. Check-in was really above average and our stay was fine enough, though a few cheap and easy fixes would've made us return customers. Side note: we parked in the Little Italy garage cause we were concerned about parking space at the hotel, but the hotel said they had spaces at check-in. We liked the room enough, but noticed the following morning how worn and stained the bed linens were. I'm sure they were washed and clean, but a new set of sheets would be an inexpensive investment in improving the experience. The real downside was breakfast. After reading raves, I expected something nice, one was there to seat or greet us, we had a scheduled time and pre-placed our order but still waited about 30 minutes for food. All of the tables [except the one we sat at] had no silverware (another couple had to ask for it after their breakfast was delivered and server walked away) and when we got the food, all of the side dishes (3) were cold. Pancakes and waffles were okay, but sausage was just the cheap, frozen Jimmy Dean links, a-buck-a-box on sale. We lightly mentioned the breakfast experience at check out, but the front desk didn't care at that point. The takeaway, meh-to-very good front desk staff, not good kitchen or dining room staff, a room and amenities a bit worn down, and a lousy breakfast. I'd probably pick somewhere else in hindsight and would DEFINITELY pick somewhere else next time.
