We arrived early and they met us with a hot tea and a muffin and checked our bags (which they took up to our room when it was ready) and provided recommendations for our morning.

Location gets an A. Located right in dam square it’s walking distance to everywhere. Not on canal, but frankly I think this location is more central, easily accessible to train station, etc.

We had a superior room with a huge bed and lovely walk in shower. The room overlooked the train station with great views. We will absolutely return for our next trip to Amsterdam."

We only had breakfast once and there was lots of choice for everyone, however we did think it was a little on the expensive side, so chose to eat out the rest of our break which did work out cheaper.
