Poor 2.0
Sadly, a poor experience. PLEASE READ below.
I stayed 5 night in this hotel and feel obliged to write a review, as honestly as possible, to warn future travelers. The hotel is not clean. The toilets to not have seats, the sinks have to plugs, the beds have one sheet and no covers. You will be supplied with a blanket and a top sheet. You will also find the conditions of the rooms appalling, there is mold under and around the sink in the bedroom alongside the burn marks in the lino floors. The hotel operates a coded door policy on the outside doors, the exterior door is also coded and will be locked at 0100h or 0200h depending on the day. Unfortunately, if you do not speak FLUENT French, you may find yourself locked out as this particular quirk is not mentioned or explained clearly. If you have anyone accompany you, friends, family etc. expect a VERY hostile reception from the hotel owner unless you have a double room. This hotel operates as a "HOTEL DE PASSE". This is a hotel frequented by prostitutes and is not particularly suited to anyone who wishes for a pleasant or even mildly luxurious stay. The hotel owner, easily spotted nearby in a cheap suit, is a very verbally offensive. He will stop and question anyone standing outside the hotel or any resident entering with another unregistered person. The prices do reflect the quality of service provided however you may find yourself feeling let down. The booking is NOT reliable from ebookers (not their fault) and you will not receive a receipt even if you pay extra.

Very good 8.0
I am a single guy and just needed a simple inexpensive place to stay and this met that criteria. It is true that there is no elevator and I was on the 4th floor which was not a problem for me. I did choose a room without a toilet or shower. The shared shower was literally 4 steps away and was always kept clean and hallway floors mopped every morning. Room service came to provide towels and sheets daily. I had no issue with the location as it was a 3 minute walk to the Metro Place de Clichy and one night I even walked back to room from Moulin Rouge which was maybe a 15 to 20 minute walk. I had no issues with the management. They were friendly and provided me with the key, remote for the tv, and numerical code foor the front door if returning to the hotel after hours.

Probably wouldn't stay again
The owner was pleasant. The location was ok. The hotel is in need of massive updates. Our room smelled of sewage. It was extremely loud. Everything was really worn. The "closet" was just a bunch of hangers tangled together and hanging from a rope. I had booked a triple but was given a double. I read the other bad reviews, but unfortunately Paris was 95% booked on when I started looking for a room. This was the only room available in my price range. If I had to do it again, I'd probably stay farther out. It was bearable for a night.

Good 6.0
Bad in cleanness
The price was low compared to other hotel nearby. The location is not bad, very easy for the transportations. Eating and shopping were convenience. However, the main problem is the cleanness. I went to room and got some strange smells. I thought it was painting recently, however, on the day I left, I found several bugs on the wall and in my bed. I killed some of them and they were full of bloods. I had a lot of red rashes on my hand and I am still itching when I returned home.

Poor 2.0
Too bad hotel staf
The staff at the hotel was not friendly at all and They don't dare to help you unless u speak French. I tried to change the dates of my arrival by calling but none of the staff helped me. I mentioned the fact am calling using long distance call, to my surprise one of the receptionist said he doesn't care he is busy with guests at the reception. I don't recommend this hotel to any one.
