Rooms as always at Ibis very basic and small. This hotel was a good location 15 min walk to the Eiffell tower and 2 min walk from the subway. The breakfast was very poor, nothing really on offer worth eating.

Excellent Location!!
When I booked this hotel initially, it was for the price and location. A day before our trip, I started looking at more current reviews of this hotel and became very very nervous about our upcoming stay. I read there were rats, the hotel rooms were so small even an average person couldn't move, etc. You can see the reviews yourselves if you are looking here. This hotel was a very basic, low amenities hotel. We stayed 8 nights. Here are my findings. Rats. We saw two rats on one occasion, OUTSIDE. There are trash bins near the curb, so not hard to figure that in a big city, or any city really, that attracts rats. It is not just this hotel, there are signs up all over the city about leaving trash out and causing a rat issue. Ever been to NY? I never saw one rat inside the property, but if I had, I would go ahead and guess it accidentally slipping in the front sliding door. There were ZERO signs of infestation. The hotel was super clean and super cute. I have no complaints on that at all! Wonderful. Room size. Small but I am 5'6" 180lb woman and my husband is 6', 230lbs. It is not a roomy room or bathroom. You will not be doing the balet in there. It is sufficient for what it is, a basic, budget hotel with an excellent location to the metro, walk to Eiffel, and so many cafés surrounding it. We did not feel that the room was too small that it was uncomfortable. It was though, HOT. We woke up sweating constantly but the window can be opened. If you are on a budget, it is great.

Eco comment. Towels hung up did not need changing. I requested a room in a quiet area and was given a room opposite the lift. On request, it was changed for one at the end of the corridor which was fine.
