cela la 3 eme fois que j'y allais et la derniere j'ai eu un couloir comme chambre tres petite pour 2 tres sale et en plus pour la derniere nuit fuite d'eau venant des toilettes du haut lit innondé j'ai eu comme remplacement avec bcp d'insistance 1 chambre simple pour 1 personne pour 2 ils ont mis un lit d'appoint ne savais meme pas accéder à l'évier A EVITER

Har tyvÀrr ingen bra erfarenhet. NÀr vi kom fram till hotellet hade de inte registrerat min bokning, och det fanns inget rum till oss. Detta trots att jag fyra dagar tidigare fÄtt en bekrÀftelse frÄn Hotels.com att ett rum var bokat och att allt var ok. Hotellet ordnade dock fram ett rum dagen efter, men ett rum med sÀmre standard Àn jag ursprungligen bokat. Annars fint lÀge.

"Engelsk atmosfĂŠre og fantastisk beliggenhed"

Det er hverken fÞrste eller sidste gang, at vi bor pÄ Arran House Hotel. Hotellet er absolut ikke luksuriÞst og en smule slidt, men meget hygggeligt, og atmosfÊren er ganske speciel: Meget engelsk og meget afslappet. Det ligger meget centralt, og der er kort afstand til offentlige transportmidler. VÊrelserne er noget uensartede, men hyggelige, og badevÊrelserne er meget smÄ, men funktionelle, og det opvejes rigeligt af resten. Morgenbuffeten er rigtig god, og personalet meget hjÊlpsomt og venligt. Vi har efterhÄnden boet pÄ Arran House Hotel en del gange og er endnu aldrig nogensinde blevet skuffede. Alle ophold har vÊret fuldt tilfredsstillende.

Receptionisterne var utrolig rare, mens kÞkkenpersonalet desvÊrre (sÊrligt afryderne) var uforskammede - ryddede af bordene og satte stole op, imens vi sad og spiste morgenmad - 20 minutter fÞr buffeten lukkede. DÄrlige ventilationsmuligheder i de meget smÄ og tÊtmÞblerede vÊrelser. God beliggenhed i et trygt kvarter i gÄafstand til det meste.

Pas d'eau chaude, 2 ampoules sur 3 grillĂ©es dans la chambre, pas un seul "bonjour", "merci", "au revoir", "bon sĂ©jour" du personnel. MĂȘme en payant 150ÂŁ pour 2 nuits, le rĂ©ceptionniste ne se lĂšve mĂȘme pas, il me montre le tableau des clefs et me dit de prendre la 12. Le personnel du PDJ est pareil, pas de rĂ©ponses aux bonjours, de plus il faut arriver dĂ©s l'ouverture du buffet car il n'y a pas eu de rĂ©assort pour ceux arrivĂ© aprĂšs (mais trĂšs bon sinon) Par contre super bien placĂ©.

God pris og kort vei til "downtown" med bane. Under 10 min Ä gÄ til Þstlige del av Oxford-street shopping. Litt slitt og gammelt. Toalettet/dusj pÄ rommet var en liten "modul" satt inn i et hjÞrne, og var veldig plÊstic og litt gammelt, men det funka. Internett-tilgang over hele, men som forventet er det litt ustabilt og tregt. Ikke tenk pÄ Ä kunne streame video over nettet, for Ä si det pÄ den mÄten. Grei, enkel frokost med bacon, eggerÞre etc.

Needed somewhere to stay over night after a theatre show that was reasonably priced and easy to get to. Booked in at about 3:30pm nice and easy. Clean room, small shower area with wc and tiny basin. Tea making and coffee available. tv wifi and phone. Open to return when wanted with night access. plenty availablwchoice at breakfast. Good value for money in central London. I have stayed in much worse and more expensive in my time but it's not the Ritz!

Vi fikk rom i kjelleren og mÄtte gjennom badet for Ä komme til sengene. Den ene i et rom uten vindu og den andre i rommet innenfor med rom ut til en liten "luftegÄr". LÄ ved siden av kjÞkkenet og vÄknet til skrammelet fra frokostlagingen. Men frokosten var god og det var en trivelig atmosfÊre. Ligger sentralt til. Mulig rommene i de andre etasjene var noe bedre. Lievel virket det nytt og det var ganske rent. Vi sov godt og det var stille og rolig. Helt greit for noen netter hvis du ikke har lyst til Ä bruke foir mye penger pÄ overnatting, men likevel vil bo sentralt.

Da vi ankom til Arran House, checkede vi ind og betalte, hvorefter portieren fortalte at der var et problem med vÊrelset og vi blev tilbudt et vÊrelse pÄ et andet hotel. Det var vi nÞdt til at acceptere. Det nye hotel lÄ lÊngere fra centrum end Arran house. Det nye hotel var acceptabelt, men heller ikke mere.Jeg forventer at vÊrelset virkelig er klar til mig, nÄr jeg har fÄet en bekrÊftet reservation. Jeg Þnsker at blive kontaktet hvis reservationen ikke holder og tilbudt alternativer. Derfor overvej pÄ forhÄnd evt. alternative hoteller, sÄ det er dig som har initiativet. FÄ vist pÄ et kort hvor det tilbudte hotel ligger. KrÊv kompensation.

Absolutely great location. Room was small but otherwise fine. Heating was either max or off so it got a bit hot even in January. Room wasnt towards Gower street so there was no noise. Shared bathrooms were clean, breakfast was ok. Wifi had a good signal but still didnt work that well. I would probably stay here again.

GemĂŒtliches Hotel

Das Hotel war grundsĂ€tzlich super. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Zimmer riesig, mit super bequemen Betten. Es liegt etwas abgelegen, ist daher auch sehr ruhig. Zum Zentrum von Scarborough lĂ€uft man ungefĂ€hr 10 bis 15 Minuten. Der einzige Mangel wĂ€re, dass das Hotel eher etwas Ă€lter ist und ĂŒber keinen Lift verfĂŒgt. Mit viel GepĂ€ck und einem Zimmer im dritten Stock eher etwas mĂŒhsam :-)

Simple London Hotel

Simple city hotel. Well managed. Room cleaned and refreshed every day to a good standard. Breakfast had good choice of foods and drinks.Location was fairly convenient for Covent Garden, Brit museum , Trafalgar Square etc. I walked to all these places. Some neat shops around too. I would use it again.

more like a 1 star motel than a hotel. 'ensuite' room is disgusting and dirty. bathroom is horrid and smells. 'breakfast included' includes boxes of korn flakes and nutella spreads with scrambled eggs made by a 12 year old. rooms are very old, chairs broken, only get droplets of water from the shower. this place is in serious and urgent need of renovation!! yuck

Good location

Was traveling alone, so I had a very small single room. As soon as you open the door, the bed is right there and it's a squeeze to get past the bed and the desk to the vanity and the wardrobe. But if like me, you just wanted a clean, comfortable place to sleep and shower before heading out to enjoy your London stay, it's quite satisfactory. Extra points for the staff who are very nice and helpful, and the free full hot breakfast buffet every morning which the kitchen managed to keep stocked even in the busiest breakfast rushes. As for location, it can't really be beat. I could easily walk to the British Museum, Leicester Square and all the West End theaters, Picadilly, Soho, Covent Garden, Westminster. Tube stations, bus stops, and an abundance of restaurant choices in Fitzrovia were also short walks away. I would stay here again.
