Exceptional Stay!!
Beautiful hotel, and exceptional staff! Had the pleasure of experiencing and an overall exquisite stay; from the initial valet parking, to check-in, to making it to our room. The ease was GREATLY appreciated after a full morning of travel. The guest room was quite literally perfect - extremely clean and cozy and I liked the personalized touch of the smart tv greeting me. All of my interactions with the desk staff, housekeeping and valet were nothing but pleasant and overly accommodating. This truly the most ideal stay I could imagine, thank you Hotel Heron!

Very cool new hotel in Alexandria. Large room, very comfy bed. Neat speakeasy bar that was fun to enjoy as part of the experience. Was a super quick visit so will need to come back to enjoy the hotel bar and other amenities.

Property was extremely clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent location in Old Town Alexandria. We paid extra for a corner room, but were assigned a very small standard room. We thought the daily parking fee of $45 was atrocious, and drinks in bar overpriced. $40 for two drinks w/tip).

This is beautifully renovated hotel walking distance from Old Town and close to many historic sites and the waterfront. The staff were extremely accommodating. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in their restaurant and after attending a music show nearby we came back to the first floor bar. It was cosy and the bartender was attentive. We tried the rooftop bar, but it was too noisy for us old folks.

I did not like that the door was left unlocked all day and I’m not sure about the night because I was in by 10 PM and the door was still unlocked. I got up the next morning for coffee by 6:30 in the morning and it was still unlocked so I don’t know if was left unlocked all night
