Can't beat the price and location, but "drab" is the best way to describe the rooms. If you don't care about the smells and sounds of your neighbors, and need a stay that is affordable and in a convenient area around D.C, then I would recommend staying at The Beacon.

He hotel was very convenient location wise and we booked a bigger room for three separate adults so there was also plenty of spaces to sleep. Overall, our stay was excellent. The only thing that I didn’t like was the small tub and weak shower head. Otherwise everything was excellent.
