Luxury hotel with outdoor pool, near Dupont Circle
The front desk staff was great. The room was freezing upon entering, the thermostat was…

Overall hotel was pleasant and in the Dupont circle area which is where we wanted to stay. The lobby and hallways were nice. The room was eclectic and boutique like in its decoration. The comfort of the bed was so so. The bathroom was small, generally fine, bad lighting. The TV was too small given size of room. The room had an old hotel smell (you know what this is if you've stayed in enough hotels). The service was fine. All in, I don't think I would stay here again.

Very good
People were nice. The building is older and more of a classic style. Everything was clean, which in the era of COVID is a prime concern.

Great Stay in DuPont Circle Neighborhood
Just a one night stay August 2020 during Corona virus pandemic. Hotel had a lot in place to make stay safer. No yucky throw pillow or bedspreads. One party in elevator and hand sanitizer in elevators, etc, etc. I enjoyed my stay and did not feel I was putting myself at increased risk of virus in the hotel. Complimentary wine in bar 5-6pm, and free use of bikes. Pool was not open, maybe due to the pandemic. They did not charge the resort fee at this time which was nice, as pool was not open. Bed and linens comfortable. Roomy guest room and bathroom. Nice room decor. Enjoyed my stay. Great neighborhood. Will return.

Asked to have room cleaned as advised to do, room was not cleaned. Hand sanitizers were empty. Nothing to clean gym workout equipment, machines!
