Excellent staff and facilities - highly recommend the place…we knew it was vibrant and lively place but the extremely noisy neighbours in the next room were an unwanted addition - if they hadn’t been there it would have been superb

The bathroom was superb, really good jet bath and excellent showers. The bed was comfortable.The hotel is very 'shabby chic' style, and some bits are a bit more shabby but not terrible. The only real negative was the noise from the bars outside.

The hotel is great…..depending on what your there ( in Liverpool for ) 1. Yes the wall are Paper thin 2. Yes it’s very noisy as it’s right next to the famous music clubs that have live acts……so now I’ve put you off haha., the other bits are The room was superb. ( could do with a mirror above the wash basin) but there are plenty of mirrors as you can see in my pics. Would have been lovely to have some lighting either directly in or around the fabulous wardrobe that’s fully lined in black velvet. Very posh but I couldn’t see my clothes haha…… The room itself was great. Two extremely comfortable beds, clean linen and I even have a Jacuzzi that I throughly used. I was there in an impromptu little getaway for myself. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly or attentive. This is a great little find. Everything shops bar clubs is literally on its doorstep. Great hotel for Adults & couples I’d say. Thank you again to the team at Boutique56

Stayed here with group of girls for my 30th birthday, gutted we had a flight of stairs to walk up but not the worse thing, staff was great, I mean could hear music from outside bars but my ears was ringing so tbh wasn’t a problem! I had a pleasant 2 night stay at this property. It is loud at night but I still managed to sleep despite this. It was clean and comfortable, my only mild criticisms are 1) how difficult it is to shut the curtains as they are so high up! No stick to help you pull them closed, that would help a lot. And the light on the fridge! It was beaming all night making the room bright, along with the gap next to the curtains that I couldn’t close properly. Other than that, it was a very good stay. Bedside tables or shelves might also be useful, but not a deal breaker :)

It’s ok
Location was great and the staff were friendly, the room was a bit rough round the edges, one of the beds in the room had a knackered mattress but the other was ok. The bathroom had two bathtubs one jet bath and one normal with a shower in which was cool but the bathroom had a horrible damp smell due to no ventilation. If you are a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommend staying here as I was woken up multiple times through the night by other guests. The walls are thin and you can hear pretty much everything that happens on your floor.

Very disappointing
I’ve never stayed anywhere where walls or so thin that you can hear next door occupants chatting let alone the music! Also a lot of street noise and no black out curtains so my hubby and I got very little sleep. The dull lighting throughout made me feel that was to hide the decor and not sourly to create atmosphere. The location however was excellent and staff at the desk mostly friendly.
